RES Home Care is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for those in their care

We rise by lifting others-Robert Ingersoll

RES Home Care (RES) was founded in 2000 by Dr. Joseph Vollaro, a distinguished Neuropsychologist specializing in clinical neuropsychology and neuroscience from the Graduate School and University Center of The City University of New York, was established to deliver exceptional community services to survivors of

traumatic brain injuries on Long Island through the

New York State Department of Health’s Medicaid Waiver Program.

Dr. Vollaro, in forming RES, sought to expand the organization's reach from Suffolk to Nassau County, leading to the development of innovative programs to establish a comprehensive framework for in-home Care and Community-Based Services, resulting in the establishment of RES Home Care.

RES provides the community with long-term care and mental health services, including Medicaid waiver services through the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver and the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) Waiver.

Their services cover companion services, home health aides, personal care aides, individual and family counseling, Community Center-social day programs, independent living skills trainers, positive behavioral intervention specialists, affordable housing, and neuropsychological testing.

RES strives daily to remain one of the leading providers of services to TBI survivors on Long Island.

They have gained recognition throughout New York State as premier providers of the highest-quality care.

As the healthcare landscape undergoes significant transformations, RES ensures that community members can access the most comprehensive Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) available.
