How do I know what services my loved one needs?

You can contact the RES Intake Coordinator to help you explore an option or combination of options to best fit your loved one’s lifestyle via telephone or set up an in-person meeting. From home care services, companion services, respite care and adult day services, we can help you find the perfect fit for your situation.

Please also visit our printable brochures tab to print out information about all services. This will allow you to read at your convenience and share with family members and friends.

Can I tour your facility for your Day Program Services?

We conduct tours Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm for our day program services. Contact our Intake Coordinator to schedule a tour. RES also offers a half- or full-day free trial for our Day Program.

What happens if my PCA/HHA is on vacation or out for a sick day?

RES Home Care staff will work to find coverage in the event that a PCA/HHA staff member is not available.

There are so many abbreviations in health care. What does PCA mean?

Does RES only provide services for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries?

RES provides services to all individuals, not exclusively to those with traumatic brain injuries.

Do I need to be on a NYS Waiver Program to receive services through RES?

Although RES does work with the HCBS/TBI and HCBS/NHTD Waiver Programs, RES also serves individuals through a variety of insurance plans and private pay options. Therefore, it is not necessary to participate in a waiver program.
