About the RES Organization

Centrally located on Long Island, New York, RES Company was founded in 2000 by Dr. Joseph Vollaro. Dr. Vollaro is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with a Ph.D. in Psychology from the City University of New York (CUNY) with a focus in neuroscience/neuropsychology.
RES Company, Inc. was founded with the goal of providing high-quality community services to survivors of traumatic brain injuries on Long Island through the New York State Department of Health’s Medicaid Waiver Program. Over time, RES Company saw we had the potential to provide more services and help more populations throughout Suffolk and Nassau Counties. As a result, the process of developing innovative programs to provide a continuum of Home and Community Based Services began and RES Home Care was established as a sister company.
Today, RES Company
and RES Home Care are dedicated to providing long-term care and mental health services to our community members. These include Medicaid waiver services through both the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver
and the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) Waiver.
Other services provided include home health aides, personal care aides, individual and family counseling, social day programs, companion services, independent living skills trainers, positive behavioral intervention specialists, affordable housing, and neuropsychological testing.

Dr. Vollaro and the RES organization work daily to continue to be one of the largest providers of services to survivors of TBI on Long Island and are known throughout New York State as a premier provider of the highest-quality.
